Be aware that, psychologically, casinos want nothing more than for us to play away our winnings. Winning is so much fun that, having won, we almost always want to do nothing more than win again.

Those of you who are casino veterans know that you can’t sit in at the craps table or the roulette wheels or the blackjack table for very long before a beautiful waitress offers you a complimentary drink. That’s because these are considered “thinking” games, so the casino is going to do everything it can to alter your ability to think. Thus, the free alcohol.
Go into a major casino and play the slots and you could be at one machine for days before a casino employee will notice. Wait for a free drink and you’ll die of thirst.
If you want to play the slot machines yet be catered to as if you were a blackjack player, you have to go to some of the smaller slots parlors, perhaps in Reno or downtown Las Vegas.
In the smaller establishments, a greater percentage of the income comes from slots players, so the slots players are treated more nicely. Even so, don’t count on champagne. Beer and house liquor is about the best you can hope for.

Slots` Bankroll

These people go to play slots with a bankroll which is far less than what is required even to start any kind of play on even the lowest-of-the-low slots. Not only that, these people take that meager bankroll and go for the big, expensive slots. They start with the $5 and $10 machines, or even higher. Or the ones that take 45 coins or 90 coins per pull. That’s like going to the top of that bungee jump, then unhooking themselves from the bungee cord, and tying a short shoelace to themselves instead, then smiling at the people around them as they jump off the tower to their inevitable doom. As silly as this sounds, so many people are guilty of this that it is unfathomable how this can continue. Not only once, these people do this again and again. It becomes a self-defeating cycle for them, and they wonder why they “never seem to have enough” to win. Another catchphrase of the perennial loser.

Don’t be like that. When you go to the casino, take enough money with you so slots articles that your starting bankroll is at least sufficient to support your expected action. Like the bungee cord, don’t jump off if your action is designed for $200 and all you have is a $150 lifeline.

The amount of your bankroll should be determined by several factors. First, it depends on what this money means to you at that time. If this money is truly unencumbered, you will feel a lot better about making it a true bankroll. If this money is not completely unencumbered—such as when a portion of it should be used for something else, but that something else is not one of the essentials to survival— then maybe you will not handle the bankroll as well, or it may not be big enough. As a general rule, a gambling bankroll should be made up only Exclusive blackjack of money which is entirely unencumbered. No part of it is needed, or could even be considered as being needed, for something else. Unencumbered money is free, and not scared. Encumbered money will always be scared money, and in gambling, scared money will fly away quickly. Playing with scared money means you are afraid to lose it. This doesn’t mean that you have adopted the defeatist attitude we discussed earlier. It simply means that you have allocated at least some part of your bankroll either as an inadequate amount, or being encumbered upon something else—borrowed from a credit card, perhaps—which means you will have to pay it back, probably at great stress to you or your family. This is a very bad way to start your bankroll. Always start your bankroll with free money, which will become a solid gambling stake and not frightened at the prospect of being lost.

For example: Say you wish to play a 6-spot as your main number selection. Pick your six numbers on Card A. Then, on Card B, pick the same six numbers, but add one more, for a 7-spot. On Card C, you can add, say, two more numbers for a 9-spot, and on Card D you can add one more number for a 10-spot. So now you are playing one 6-spot, one 7-spot, one 9-spot, and one 10-spot on all the four cards, with the original six-spot combination casino games being common to all four cards. If you hit any of those original six numbers, these also count on all the other cards, thereby multiplying your wins. Once you try this you will get the hang of it very quickly. You can experiment by yourself, and you will find that picking 9- and 10-spot combinations is usually the best, with at least six numbers of each group being common to the others. The bad news is that the payoff program on some of these machines is not nearly as liberal as on regular slots or video keno games, so you will need to keep in mind that you are facing a very large house edge on these games. However, on the Four Card Keno game this can be somewhat offset by the fact that you can get paid several times for a hit. And offering a Progressive Jackpot too. It’s fun, and I’ve had some nice hits on this game.

One of the games I like most on these machines is а game called Four Card Keno. This video keno game has four cards, and you can play all four at the same time. You don’t have to, but the whole point of this game is that you can and because of this, you can quadruple your hits.

Here’s how it works:

First, you select the amount you wish to wager per credit. You do this by selecting the denomination icon of your choice on the main screen. Next, you touch the Four Card Keno icon, and this takes you to the game. Then, you choose how many credits you wish to play per card. You do this by touching the bet-one icon once for each credit per card. For example, say you want to play one credit per card. This means you will touch the bet-one credit button four times, and this will wager one credit for each of the four cards. Or you can touch the “bet max” button, and this will play the maximum wager per card, which is ten credits, for a total wager of forty credits per game. If you are playing the one-penny-per-credit, this means you will be wagering 10 cent per card, for a total bet of 40cent per game and sometimes he wins the Jackpot. And so on for all the other denominations available.

Once you have selected the amount of the wager, you then touch Card A, and select your numbers. Then you go to Card В and repeat the process, then Card C, and finally Card D. Now you have selected numbers on all your cards You then press the “deal” button, and the game draws the numbers. As in all keno games, the more numbers you have the more you win. But on this Four Card Keno game, tn best advantage you have is that you can “wheel” your nu bers. Wheeling numbers has been possible in lotteries to long as they have been available, but until now it was possible on video keno games. Wheeling your numbers means that you can select the same numbers on more than one card, so that when they hit you will be paid more than once for that hit. It is therefore a very good idea to pick few core numbers, and then use these same numbers on multiple cards, along with whatever number extensions you choose.

When we “like” something, usually it’s because it does something for us which is pleasing, such as being entertained by the experience with the slot machine. Whenever we think that something was “good,” this usually means that the entertaining experience we liked so much also proved rewarding in some way Admirals Inn. This leads us to the part which we call “profitable,” and although this normally means that we made some money, with slot machines this could be as simple as having received a pay. Any pay. Even a small pay which, in reality, meant an overall loss. But just the act of getting it, with the other factors combined, often results in our perception that this was “profitable,” in which case we usually think of “profit” as something in addition to mere money. The casino experience, for example. Or the camaraderie among players. Or the fact that we were there with a loved one and shared a happy time, overall, which had little to do with the act of profiting from this particular slot machine. Maybe we reached the comfort factor after having lost money Multi Spin Slots, but we got some play for it, and therefore the other factors in this human equation were satisfied, and consequently we thought about this as the “payment” for that series of experiences. Whenever such really novice players have a streak of luck, most casino people will explain to them not only that they have won, but that such a large win is extremely rare. Then they will usually refer them to some more information about gaming, and about the games provided in casinos. Even the most rudimentary information, such as that provided by most major casino resorts in the hotel rooms, is better than nothing at all. Although most of this information isn’t exactly helpful, because it talks mainly about how to play the games that the casino happens to offer (and not necessarily about how to play these games well), nevertheless even this information is more knowledge than most novices have. Unfortunately, many people ignore even that little knowledge.

Although this example of the really "green" novice may be extreme, it serves to illustrate a wider problem among slot players. Even players who have been to casinos several times, who are now familiar with how slots work and may even possess some of that rudimentary knowledge from the inroom pamphlets or information obtained through conversations with other players - even these people do not necessarily behave, or play, in any more profitable manner than did those very "lucky" novices. Just because you have been to a casino and have played slots before, doesn’t mean you know all you should know. Maybe you have won. Maybe you have lost. Perhaps you have won and lost, and are about even. What if you only lost a little? Does that make you feel comfortable about your casino slots expertise?
Being "comfortable" is an important concept.
