The Asian gaming room Jubao Palace is now open at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The new gaming complex includes a mix of 17 tables for games most popular among Asian players: Mini-Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Asia Poker and Blackjack. The accompanying 15-seat noodle bar features high quality, authentic Asian cuisine including Beef Pho, Roast Duck, Fried Dumplings, Char Siu Pork and more, all with a Hard Rock twist.
In keeping with the theme, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will host an inaugural event as part of its Lunar New Year celebrations in February. The celebration will feature a series of events that will culminate with a traditional lion dance. More details to come soon.
The casino recently named industry veteran Lynn Tran as the vice president of Asian Marketing. In this newly formed position, Tran will oversee advertising, public relations, special events, promotions and entertainment at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, including Jubao Palace. She possesses 20 years of experience in the casino industry. Prior to her work at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, she worked at Caesars and Sands Casino Hotel, both in Atlantic City, N.J. She then served as the executive director of Asian marketing at Resorts Casino for five years. Most recently, she was executive director of Asian marketing at the Golden Nugget also in Atlantic City, N.J. She was born in Mytho, Vietnam and moved to the United States at age 13.

Jubao Palace is part of a significant upgrade to many parts of the casino, which has grown to become the fourth largest casino in the United States and the sixth largest in the world. Multiple entrances to the 4,000 sq. ft. Asian gaming room are located on one side of the main casino floor, near the original porte cochere entrance to the Seminole Hard Rock.
The opening of Jubao Palace marks the first entry into the Asian gaming market at any of the seven Florida casinos operated by Seminole Gaming, although the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood also sees a significant representation of Asian casino guests.
